Bardstown Ghost Hunting Trip Part 3

Bardstown Ghost Hunting Trip Part 3
10-23-2007

To quickly review, when I finished part 2 of the Bardstown’s blog, we had just been notified that people which were viewing the live web cast had heard a woman screaming and I had noted that no one else was in the building.

At this point I decided to go to another part of the inn to investigate some other areas. I did not witness any other paranormal events. However, the people that stayed in the first room I had just left, reported what happened next.

They said that Patti Starr had called out to Jessie Jame’s spirit and asked him to make himself known by opening the door that I described in part 2 of my blog. To everyone’s surprise, the door did open and there was no one to be seen anywhere near the door. I am kind of sorry I left and missed this event which seemed to be the highlight of the investigation and the live web cast. I must note that the rest of the trip was not web cast live. Only the main investigation at the Talbott Tavern was.

The next day, our group went Ghost hunting to a small museum and a restaurant in the area. We got a few EVP’s. That night, I was so tired that I went to sleep early. However, a lot of the people in my group decided to stay up till 4:00 AM in the morning to Ghost Hunt in the Tavern we were staying in. In the morning, they reported seeing a shadow ghost peering around the corner near the room I was staying in of all places. For those of you not familiar with Shadow Ghosts, here are two web sites that explain what they are:

Shadow Ghosts 1

Shadow Ghosts 2

The last night we were there, we again went Ghost Hunting at an opera house in town. We again got a few EVP’s. There was several interpretations of what one EVP said. We all listened to it. This spirit seemed to have an attitude. Some people thought, it said, “Help, stupid bitch”. Others thought it said, “Help Bitch”. In any case, this spirit did seem to be lacking in manners. 🙂

Later on, I went to the room where some of the girls in my group were staying. I was sitting in a nice comfortable chair in the room and telling them about my experience with my wedding rings that I described in the first part of this blog. Two other girls were laying down on a bed near me listening to my story. I just got through telling them that I thought the spirit was a woman.

Susan Rushing, one of the hosts of the live web cast during the first night and who is also a psychic, said that she thought it really was a woman because woman’s wedding rings were topics that ladies liked to discuss.. She then asked me if I had just kicked her bed. I told her I had not and remarked that I was sitting way to far from the bed to even reach the bed with my feet. She then sat upright and noticed I was right. I then stated that the kicking could have been the spirit validating my story and our conclusion. She then said she felt another kick. I said, “See, I think I am right”

She then stated that she felt that the woman spirit had a guitar shape type of figure. As soon as she finished saying that, she felt someone hit her butt and said, “ouch”. I started to laugh and told her that it was apparent that the spirit did not like the remark about her body type.

Well, these are the details of the entire trip in a nutshell. In all, it was the most fun I have had in a very long time. By the way, if you have not heard of the other hosts of our live web cast, Bob Hunnicutt and Jason Lewis, hanging out with them is like watching the comedy channel live. I really enjoyed being with them so much and don’t think I have ever laughed so much in three days.

I must also mention how much fun it was to hang out with the other two web cast hosts, Lorrie Jones and Tara Deters. collectively known as the Ghost Chicks. They are such sweet hospital southern ladies.

As a matter of fact, everyone in our group had so much fun that we decided to make GhostHunting in Bardstown an annual event. I am already looking forward to doing this again. Hope you enjoyed hearing about my adventure.
